Five Ways To Use Leftover Pavers

Have a few extra pavers lying around?

Hang on to them!  Because pavers are ordered primarily by a pallet load, there are typically a few leftovers lying around after the job, and a contractor will normally ask you if you would like to keep them or not.  The answer is yes, because there is so much to be done with these beautiful pavers.

Make a “Paver Pot”

One of the greatest ways to efficiently use just a few pavers is to turn them into pots!  In order to make it all you will need is 5 pavers and some mason glue.  They make the perfect patio decoration, we recommend using the darker color if you have multiple colors to start with on your patio.

Make a Creative Structure

We love the way that some people decide to use pavers.  These people wanted something a little different to spice up their yard, and add a different height.  There are many examples of ways you can use pavers to add something a little special.

Set a Border With On Edge Pavers

Another great creative way to add different layers to an otherwise flat surface is to introduce these lovely borders.  If you have a few extra pavers laying around, throw them up around a planter.  Additionally, if you put them around the edge of grass it will stop the growth from going in the wrong direction and it will be easier to maintain.

Use Pavers to Make a Garden Bed

If you have a pallet of leftover pavers and you need a protected area to plant your garden, this is a practical and stylish way to do your gardening.  Not only that, but its a lot easier on the back when you are trying to plant or harvest.

Help Defend your House Against Bugs and Critters

This option may take a little bit of work digging, but it is well worth it.  You can protect your house by digging a trench around it and placing pavers under the ground about a foot deep.  This will generally protect against bugs getting into the house, and generally creates a nice barrier.

That’s all we have for now!  We don’t always recommend that you try and do these yourself, you may want to contact a professional to at least get an estimate.  If we come up with any other great ideas we will be sure to post them, and until then, we hope you enjoyed the read!

Thanks,

Tuscany Pavers
